REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2025 PITTSBURGH DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
The 2025 Pittsburgh Dragon Boat Festival will take place at beautiful North Park Lake (10301 Pearce Mill Road, Allison Park, PA 15101) on September 27, 2025. Created to showcase the sport of dragon boat racing and to support Breast Cancer Survivors (BCS), the Festival features spirited racing among Community/Corporate, Sport, Youth, and BCS teams. It is a celebration of dragon boat racing, culture, community and survivorship.
ABOUT DRAGON BOATING
A dragon boat team consists of 20-24 paddlers who sit two abreast, a coxswain (provided) who steers from the rear, and a drummer who sits at the front.
CREATE A TEAM
At this year’s festival, community, sport and youth teams as well as Breast Cancer Survivor teams are expected to paddle and race for medals and awards.
BECOME A SPONSOR
There are many sponsorship opportunities to help Breast Cancer Survivors. In addition, you will get exposure to hundreds of event participants and spectators.
ORGANIZED BY PITTSBURGH HEARTS OF STEEL
Pittsburgh Hearts of Steel is a support group open to all Breast Cancer Survivors. We want to provide a place where Breast Cancer Survivors of all ages and physical abilities can gather to discuss and act to improve their overall sense of well-being. We do this through physical activity, communication, support, friendship, and giving back to our community.
